Portal Access Management
Portal Access Management gives you control over who can access the User Portal and submit requests. These settings are essential for keeping your portal secure, especially when the portal is used for internal service requests or restricted customer groups.
To configure portal access settings:
Go to admin.hipporello.com
Navigate to User Portal → Access

Enable User Sign-in
Use Enable User Sign-in to control whether users can log in to the portal.
When enabled, users can sign in and access portal features based on your access rules
When disabled, portal login is turned off, which can help you restrict interactions depending on your setup
Self-Registration and Restrictions
You can restrict access to your User Portal by allowing only:
Specific email addresses
Specific email domains (for example, @yourcompany.com)
To configure this:
Click the settings icon in the access section
Define the allowed email addresses or email domains
Use Enable Self-Registration to control whether users can create their own portal accounts:
If enabled, users can sign up on their own (as long as they meet your allowed email/domain rules)
If disabled, only users who are invited can access the portal
This helps you align portal access with internal security policies.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Authentication
Enable SSO to offer a smoother, more secure login experience through supported providers such as:
Google
Microsoft
SSO reduces password management and simplifies onboarding for users, while improving account security.
With these access controls, you can keep your portal both secure and user-friendly, ensuring that only the right people can submit requests and track progress.
