Installing Hipporello on your Asana project
Setting Up Hipporello Service Desk for Asana
Follow the steps below to configure Hipporello Service Desk with your Asana workspace.
Step 1: Start the Setup
Go to hipporello.com and click the Get Started button to begin the installation process.
Step 2: Authorize Asana Access
You will be prompted to grant Hipporello permission to access your Asana account.
This authorization allows Hipporello to:
Create tasks from incoming requests
Sync project data
Manage notifications and communication
Approve the required permissions and continue.
Step 3: Configure Service Desk Details
Enter your Service Desk information, including your service desk name, basic portal settings, and whether you prefer to receive requests through forms, emails or both.
These basic confogurations define how your Service Desk will function and appear to users.
Step 4: Select an Asana Project
Choose the Asana project you want to use as your Service Desk project. Using a project as a service desk means receiving requests into and sending messages from that project. You can always start with one project and later on add more from the Admin Panel.
All incoming submissions will be created as tasks inside this selected project. Confirm your selection to proceed.
Setup Completed
Your Hipporello Service Desk is now successfully connected to Asana. Following the setup, you will be redirected to Hipporello's Admin Panel, where you can manage and customize your Service Desk settings.
From the Admin Panel, you can:
Configure forms
Set up email integrations
Manage portal settings
Adjust access controls
Connect additional Asana projects and more.
Use the left-hand menu to navigate between configuration options. You can also access your connected Asana project directly from the Admin Panel whenever needed.
