Defining your custom domain for Service Desk for Asana
You can enhance the professionalism and brand alignment of your service desk by customizing your User Portal’s web address. By default, your portal runs on
yourportalname.hipporello.net.
However, you can set up a custom domain to create a more recognizable and branded experience for your users.
Steps to Set Up a Custom Domain
To access the Hipporello admin panel, go to admin.hipporello.com in your browser.
Then navigate to User Portal → Domain Configuration.

Here you can:
Click “+ Add a Custom Domain”
Enter the domain you want to use (for example, support.yourcompany.com)
Click Add to proceed
Configuring DNS Settings
After adding your custom domain, you must update your DNS settings.
Go to your domain provider’s management console
Create a new CNAME record
Paste the CNAME value provided by Hipporello
Save your changes
If your domain host asks for a TTL (Time-To-Live) value, you can set it between 30 minutes and 1 hour, or leave it empty.
Domain verification and activation may take up to 24 hours.
Using a custom domain strengthens your brand identity and provides a more professional and memorable experience for your users, making it easier for them to access your support portal whenever they need assistance.
