How to Map Form Data to Asana Custom Fields

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access Submit Actions

• First, log in to your dashboard and select the form you want to edit.

• Select Submit Actions from the top menu.

2. Configure the Custom Fields

• Here, you can customize the fields for the task that will be created upon submission.

• In this section, you can see the specific fields you are able to update on the task.

• Click on 'Add' and select the field you want to populate from the list.

• For this example, we’ll map the data from the form's email input directly to the 'Email' custom field on the Asana task.

3. Publish and Test

• Now, we'll publish the form to save your setup and see it in action.

• Open the live version, fill in some sample info, and submit the form.

4. Review the Result in Asana
