Connecting Multiple Asana Projects to the Same Service Desk Portal

Hipporello Service Desk allows you to connect multiple Asana projects to the same Service Desk User Portal. This enables you to collect submissions into different projects while keeping a single unified portal experience for users.

Follow the steps below to connect and manage Asana projects.

Step 1: View Connected Asana Projects

  1. Go to admin.hipporello.com

  2. From the left menu, click Connected Asana Projects

Here, you will see:

  • Already connected Asana projects

  • An option to connect a new project

If needed, you can also create a new project directly inside Asana before connecting it.

Step 2: Connect a New Asana Project

  1. In the Connected Asana Projects section, click the Connect New button

  2. A list of your available Asana projects will appear

  3. Select the project you want to connect

  4. Confirm the selection

Once completed, the newly connected Asana project will be visible in the Connected Asana Projects list.

Step 3: Route Form Submissions to the New Project

If you want submissions to be created in the newly connected project, you must create a new form.

Important:

The destination Asana project for a form cannot be changed after the form has been created.

To configure routing:

  1. Create a new form

  2. During setup, select:

    • The Asana project where tasks should be created

    • The specific section inside that project

This ensures that every submission generates a task in the correct project and section.

Step 4: Verify the Form Connection

After creating the form:

  • You can check which Asana project it is connected to

  • You can confirm the selected section where tasks will be created

From this point forward, all submissions made through this form will automatically create tasks in the selected Asana project and section.
