How to define a custom domain
You can create a more professional and brand-consistent experience by assigning a custom domain to your Hipporello User Portal. By default, your portal is accessible through:
yourportalname.hipporello.net
Setting up a custom domain allows users to access your portal using a branded address such as support.yourcompany.com, making the portal easier to recognize and remember.
Steps to Set Up a Custom Domain
To begin, open admin.hipporello.com in your browser and navigate to:
User Portal → Domain Configuration

Then:
Click “+ Add a Custom Domain”
Enter the domain you want to use (for example, support.yourcompany.com)
Click Add to proceed
Configuring DNS Settings
After adding your custom domain, you must configure your DNS settings:
Log in to your domain provider’s management console
Create a new CNAME record
Copy and paste the CNAME value provided by Hipporello
Save the changes
If your domain provider requests a TTL (Time-To-Live) value, you can set it between 30 minutes and 1 hour, or leave it empty if optional.
Domain verification and activation may take up to 24 hours to complete.
Using a custom domain reinforces your brand identity and improves accessibility by providing users with a clear and memorable portal address for submitting requests and accessing support services.
