User portal customization in service desk for Notion

You can easily tailor your Hipporello User Portal to reflect your brand identity by customizing both its visual design and content. All design and content updates are applied globally across the portal, meaning the changes affect the entire portal experience rather than individual forms.

Accessing Design & Content Settings

To open the customization panel, go to admin.hipporello.com in your browser and navigate to:

User Portal → Preview & Customize

From this section, you can manage both visual styling and homepage content settings.

General Settings

Logo & Cover Image

Upload your company logo for the header and select a cover image for the portal background to create a recognizable brand presence.

Social Share Image

Set a default image that appears when your portal link is shared on social platforms.

Color Scheme

Adjust key color elements such as banner backgrounds, button colors, form titles, body text, and button text to match your brand palette.

Apply an overlay to the banner area to improve readability when using bright or detailed background visuals.

Favicon

Update the browser tab icon to reflect your brand identity.

Service Desk Name & Portal Language

Modify the service desk name displayed on the portal and choose the preferred portal language.

Domain Configuration

Update your portal address or connect a custom domain to provide a fully branded portal experience.

Homepage Layout

Header Customization

Edit the homepage title and the search field placeholder text to align with your communication style.

Add links to your organization’s social media profiles below the search bar to increase visibility and engagement.

Form Title Customization

Rename forms as they appear on the homepage to improve clarity and maintain brand consistency.

Form Groups & Announcements

Use the “+” button to organize forms into groups, add informational content, or publish announcements. The announcements section is useful for sharing updates, maintenance notices, or important service information.

Add helpful links in the footer area to guide users to additional resources, policies, or service pages.

By configuring both design and content settings, you can create a branded portal experience that aligns with your organization’s identity while delivering a clear and user-friendly request submission environment. All changes are reflected immediately, allowing you to preview and adjust your portal in real time.
