Connecting Multiple Linear Teams to the Same Service Desk Portal

Hipporello Service Desk allows you to connect multiple Linear teams to the same Service Desk User Portal. This enables you to route different request types into separate Linear teams while maintaining a single centralized portal for users.

Follow the steps below to connect and configure your Linear teams.

Step 1: View Connected Linear Teams

  1. Go to admin.hipporello.com

  2. From the left menu, navigate to Connected Linear Teams (or Workspaces).

This section displays all Linear teams currently linked to your Service Desk portal.

Step 2: Connect a New Linear Team

  1. Click the Connect New button.

  2. Select the Linear team you want to connect.

  3. Click Add.

Once completed, the newly selected Linear team will appear in the Connected Linear Teams list, confirming that it has been successfully linked.

Step 3: Route Form Submissions to the New Linear Team

If you want new submissions to create issues in the newly connected Linear team, you must create a new form.

Important: The Linear team selected for a form cannot be changed after the form has been created.

To configure routing:

  1. Create a new form.

  2. During form setup, select the Linear team where issues should be created.

Each submission made through this form will automatically generate a new issue in the selected Linear team.

Step 4: Publish the Form

After completing the form setup:

  1. Review and make any necessary changes.

  2. Click Publish to make the form live.

Once published, the form connected to your new Linear team will begin creating issues for every new submission.

Step 5: Verify Team Connection

At any time, you can:

  • Open the form settings.

  • Check which Linear team it is connected to.

This ensures that submissions are being routed correctly to the intended team.
