Every month, we listen closely to how teams use Hipporello Service Desk and this month’s release is about making your workflows smoother, more flexible, and more connected.

The new updates bring exciting improvements to mainly forms and automations, and help you save time and build more powerful workflows in Trello, Notion and Asana.

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Smarter forms that can talk to your workspace

Available for: Trello, Asana, and Notion

We know our users love keeping things consistent between their workspaces and forms. Now, forms in Hipporello’s Service Desk can automatically pull in values from your Custom Fields and task fields in Trello, Notion or Asana (like members, lists, and labels) and display them as radio buttons, dropdowns, or select boxes while building your forms. 

This means you don’t have to type these options manually when you need them or worry about updates. Your forms automatically stay in sync with your board or project structure. 

For example, you can now let your users select a department label, project stage, or even assign a responsible team member, all using the data that already lives in your workspace without any manual work. This makes forms more flexible and easier to maintain.

Cross-Board & Cross-Project automation support: because work may happen in more than one place

Available for: Trello and Asana

We know that real work and incoming requests often stretch across multiple boards and projects. That’s why we’ve introduced Cross-Board & Cross-Project Automation Support.

Now, when you set up an automation, you can choose which connected boards or projects it applies to. This means your automations can finally work across teams, boards/projects, and departments. This means you can keep everyone you need in sync without manual effort. 

For example, a support request submitted on your “Customer Support” board/project can instantly create a related ticket on your “Development” board/project as well for the product team. This ensures your product team is always in the loop and doesn't miss the tickets that concern them.

Multiple automation actions in a single rule

Available for: Trello, Asana, and Notion

Until now, you needed separate rules if you wanted multiple actions triggered by the same event. However, with this improvement you can bundle multiple actions under a single trigger, allowing you to create powerful workflows in one go.

For example, when a new task is created, you can build one automation rule to:

  • Send a thank-you email to the person who submitted the request,

  • Assign the right person to handle the request,

  • And update the ticket status — all from one rule.

Plus, a few more goodies

As always, we’ve included several small improvements and fixes in this release to make Hipporello faster and more reliable. These include, but are not limited to improvements in form fields, and automations.
