New Feature Rollout: Change Request Owners, Link Knowledge Base Articles, and More

We have released new improvements and features in Hipporello’s Service Desk that will make managing your support processes even easier. From the ability to quickly reassign request owners, to seamlessly attaching knowledge base articles to requests, these updates are designed to enhance your workflow.

Let’s dive into these powerful new features and how they can improve your support experience:

1. Enhanced Portal Homepage Customization

Significant improvements have been made to the Portal Homepage customization. You'll find a new block-adding experience that simplifies layout adjustments and allows you to navigate in the Portal design page easily.

This improvement is designed to make the portal more user-friendly for both admins and end users.

2. Easily Change Request Owners

Changing request owners is now easier than ever. In some cases, you may need to reassign a request to a new owner and continue communication with them.

You can change the owner and their contact information directly from the ticket where the request was created.

Just click on the requester’s name, add the new owner's contact information and save. This will update the owner.

3. Attach Knowledge Base Articles to Requests

You can now attach Knowledge Base articles directly to requests. This feature simplifies providing solutions, allowing you to choose relevant articles from inside the ticket and send them to users instantly.

This feature is available to users who have enabled their Knowledge Base addon only. You can enable your Knowledge Base addon from the menu on the left hand side on your Admin Panel.

4. Edit Footer While Replying to Requesters from inside tickets

Customizing your communications is now more flexible. When replying to a requester from inside a created ticket, you can instantly modify the footer of your message, ensuring that your communications remain personalized and professional.

These updates are designed to make your experience with Hipporello’s Service Desk smoother, more intuitive, and even more powerful.
